I like this device! While I haven't basked it in much sunshine yet, I'm very happy with it's stamina. I can charge my Nokia phones (N95, N97, N900) as well as my Wasabi portable printer! The later being a big selling point. Since it has a voltage range from 4.5VDC to 9.0VDC, with stops at 5.0VDC & 6.3VDC, I've got a lot more charging options available to me. I've been cooped up inside since getting it, and the limited times outside have been overcast, so I can't yet comment on the solar recharging. But, that's not really why I got this device. The price was right and the power output was just what I was looking for in such a portable device!

This unit works as discribed. But definitely have to watch the order you plug in the power charger. I am not sure what happened to mine but it quite working. Beach Camera replaced the whole unit because of the problem. No questions asked. Charging my solar radio and Blackberry works great. The support from Ice Tech USA on this problem was excellent, also. I would buy it again if I ever need another one and I would recommend it.
Works alright for a backup

I got one of these a year or two ago and I've used it mainly to recharge my DS Lite on long car rides. You need a USB adapter for the DS to be able to use solar charger but it works. As far as using it on an iPod it seems like the iPod won't actually charge from the unit if its battery is still charged. Once my iPod completely ran down it would then recharge like it says; I'm assuming this to also hold true for the iPhone.
