Acronym 3A-MSOL1 Solar Charger

19 March 2009 No Comment

The acronym 3A-MSOL1 solar charger is one of the latest chargers around and a recent release from Acronym for the spring/summer range of their fashion catalog. This might seem out of place for a fashion catalog but in fact the Acronym charger will attach straight onto the webbing of the acronym 3A-TS bag while you are out and about and you will hardly know its there.

The Acronym charger comes with the panel and what they refer to as the accumulator unit - this is much like some other chargers (like the solio or powermonkey) that will store the charge on an internal battery. In order to charge your device you simply need to connect it to the accumulator with one of the supplied cables as and when you need too - you dont even need to have the solar panel attached or around which makes this, in some regards, a more compact unit than some of the others.

Charge time at the moment, or how long it takes to fill the accumumulator is relatively unknown and there are no specs on the manufacturers website. However, they do confirm that this device is suitable for most cell phones, ipods and even laptops. When we get a full list we will be sure to update this with more information.
